In a project with a leading Swiss logistics company, I was able to develop an offering that could change the group for good.

When I heard that I could work on a project that could change the face of a Swiss logistics giant, I was fascinated by the challenge. I had gained my first experience in the industrial and logistics sector during my studies. At the time, I had always wondered how this business model could be translated into the digital age. Now I had the opportunity to actively shape a development path.

Bringing a logistics offering into the digital world
Some time ago, Prospire was asked by the innovation department of a leading Swiss logistics company to help them launch a new platform. An intrapreneur had previously developed the idea of a global platform approach to bring their physical offering into the digital age. A preliminary study had identified significant potential, but the project stagnated over time.

A small Prospire team supported the senior executives
I was able to join one of our partners in a team of two, working closely with the Head of Innovation and his team. It was our job to provide conceptual leadership for the offering. As the number of stakeholders increased, we also evolved into a neutral third party that mediated between internal and external stakeholders.

I focused on commercials and conceptual support for our partner
At the beginning of the project, we focused on assessing the commercial potential and communicating the solution to the organization. I worked on the commercial business case and supported our partner in the preparation of the pitch and proposal document. Once the implementation phase began, our team of two focused on crafting the product vision and developing the newly created business unit, always working closely with the executive team on the client side.

I really enjoyed working closely with various experienced specialists on the client side and our partner. A lot of what I learned proved to be very valuable for other mandates and helped me to develop myself. The way we work together collegially across all seniorities is, in my opinion, one of Prospire's strengths and was certainly a success factor for this project.
