Damien Taets van Amerongen has been developing and delivering innovative solutions in finance and information technology since 20 years. He joined Prospire as Principal in 2017.

Damien Taets van Amerongen is highly organised, has strong conceptual and communication skills and is able to navigate complex environments and achieve sustainable results. He has an extensive track record of delivering major projects in the financial sector and has held various front and back office positions in the banking and insurance industry.

Prior to Prospire, Damien Taets van Amerongen led UBS's cash management business in Asia and UBS's business management trade & export finance business in Switzerland. Previously, he held various roles at Swiss Re and was responsible for the design and implementation of transformational processes in the areas of finance, treasury, banking and corporate organization. Damien Taets van Amerongenholds a Master of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Zurich (UZH).

Teams are only able to achieve great results if they have a common goal and the members find meaning in it.

As a father, an enthusiastic multiplayer online player and a volunteer firefighter, leadership, teamwork and problem solving play a vital role in his life.
